AUSTIN CHIROPRACTOR WINS
AWARD
The American Chiropractic Association has honored Cynthia Vaughn of
Austin with its Drs. John Flynn-Robert Lynch Memorial Award.
The award is presented to a delegate who has served in the association
for fewer than five years and has displayed exceptional service and leadership
in the chiropractic profession.
Vaughn serves as the East Texas delegate to the association and is a
member of several committees, including the military/veterans affairs panel,
and is chairwoman of the clinical documentation committee. She has served
on the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' chiropractic advisory committee,
the Veterans' Affairs advisory committee on chiropractic care implementation
and the World Federation of Chiropractic's Identity Task Force. Vaughn is
in private practice with her husband, James Edwards, at Austin's Chiropractic
& Spine Center of America.
The American Chiropractic Association provides lobbying, public relations,
professional and educational opportunities for doctors of chiropractic.
The award was presented at the association's House of Delegates meeting
in St. Paul, Minn.
